Uttarakhand United registers a massive victory in UPL season II , wins by 70 runs

Report-Aryan Rana Uttarakhand United registered a massive victory over Uttarakhandi Boys , winning the fifth match of Uttarakhand Premier League  -II  by 70 runs. Uttarakhand United, playing on their home ground, set a massive target of 120 runs in 8 over’s, which proved a bit too much for Uttarakhandi Boys as they were bowled out  for 50 runs.  Hoshiyarchand from the winning side was adjudged man of the match for his stunning knock of 57 not out (seven 4’s and four 6’s) in just 26 balls. The second season of the Uttarakhand Premier League , which is being organized by Kauthik Foundation to unite the Uttarakhandi youth in Mumbai,  commenced on a perfect note at  Karnala Sport Complex, Panvel on December 15, 2013. Parwaaz, Adfactors and Uttaranchal Mahasangh provide relief to Uttrakhand flood affected families

Parwaaz Mulitifoundation in association with Adfactors PR and Uttranchal Mahasangh, distributed financial aid to 68 flood  affected families  in Rudra Prayag and Grahwal Srinagar, in mid of July 2013.  A 5 member  team consisting Mr  Vikas Joshi, Mr Aryan Rana,  of  Parwaaz Mulitfoundation,  Mrs Anandi Gairola, Mr  Suresh Lohani  of  Uttranachal Mahasangh Mumbai,  Mr R Bhatt of Gadkesari,  personally visited the affected families in their houses, spent time with them, consoled and listened to their grievances.    Mr Suresh Lohani, Mr Aryan Prem Rana, Mrs  Anandi Gairola and Mr Rampraksh Batt at RudraParyag Determined to help the flood victims in Uttrakhand, Parwaaz Mulitfoundation (which was founded in 2009) team led by Aryan Rana of Adfactors PR initiated a campaign to raise funds for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected families in the region.  The team members, wrote mails and went door- to- door in Thane and Mumbai, asking for funds from potential donors. 

Appeal: Financial assistance for flood victims in Uttarakhand

As you are aware about the immense devastation caused by torrential rain and floods in Uttarakhand in which thousands of people have lost their lives and tens of thousands have been displaced, Parwaaz   Multifoundation, a not-for-profit registered NGO, based in Thane, near Mumbai, Maharashtra, has taken an initiative to raise donations for supporting devastated families in Uttarakhand.   We request you to partner with Parwaaz Multifoundation and directly support these displaced families who have been struggling for survival and awaiting timely help. Parwaaz Multifoundation has decided to focus on providing financial assistance and relief material to about 100 displaced families around Garhwal Srinagar and Rudra Paryag region.  Each family requires a minimum financial assistance of Rs 5,000/- to fulfill their basic daily needs for survival. Over 50 Uttarakhandi organizations in Mumbai-Thane region to donate Rs 10-cr for flood relief

Mumbai, June 24, 2013:  Over 50 Uttarakhandi social organisations in the Mumbai-Thane region have collectively set a target of Rs 10-crore to be collected from their members and donors for providing financial and other assistance to the thousands of flood-affected victims in Uttarakhand.  These organisations which met at various locations in Mumbai yesterday (June 23, 2013) expressed its deep sadness over the devastation caused by torrential rain and floods in Uttarakhand in which nearly 5,000 people have lost their lives and tens of thousands displaced.  Uttaranchal Mahasangh Mumbai, Akhil Bhartiya Uttarakhand Maha Sabha, Garhwal Ekta Samiti, Uttaranchal Mitra Mondal Trust, Shiv Shakti Uattrakhand Seva Mandal and Lok Kalyan Trust, Parwaaz Multifoundation,  Uttaranchal Mitra Mandal, Bhayandar and Uttaranchal Mitra Mandal, Mira Road  among several others, have requested their members to donate generously and also co-ordinate with other donors to collect funds Smt Anandi G

Uttaranchal Mahasangh writes to Rly Brd for more train services between Uttarakhand-Mumbai

The Uttaranchal Mahasangh, one of the biggest organizations of Uttarakhandi people in Mumbai and its environs, will approach the Railway Board with a request for more train services between Uttarakhand and Mumbai. The Mahasangh will write a letter to the Railway Board chief and concerned ministers, and if necessary, will send a delegation to Delhi to personally meet with Railway Board officials on the issue. Apart from more train services, the Mahasangh will also request the Railway Board to make the Dadar-Bareili weekly train a daily service and extend it to Ramnagar, Haldwani and Kathgodam. It also wants the Lokmanya Terminal-Hardwar train to be extended to Dehradun on a daily basis.  There is  only one  daily  express train service to Dehradun-Haridwar from Mumbai and the services needs to be  increased as the n umber of people   traveling between Uttrakhand and Mumbai has been increasing.  Smt. Uttaranchal Mahasangh inducts new faces to expand reach, build strong community linkages

Mumbai, April 5, 2013 :  The Uttaranchal Mahasangh, one of the biggest organizations of Uttarakhandi people in Mumbai and its environs, has introduced 12 new faces into its management team to help expand its reach and build strong community linkages amongst Uttarakhandis living in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.   The new appointees come from all walks of life such as professionals, self-employed, businessmen and home-makers. The Mahasangh has given weightage to youth in the new appointments with a view to attract Uttarakhandi youth in the region to make them acquainted with the Himalayan-state’s unique culture and connect with  their  roots.
