Parwaaz, Adfactors and Uttaranchal Mahasangh provide relief to Uttrakhand flood affected families
Parwaaz Mulitifoundation in association with Adfactors PR and Uttranchal Mahasangh, distributed financial aid to 68 flood affected families in Rudra Prayag and Grahwal Srinagar, in mid of July 2013. A 5 member team consisting Mr Vikas Joshi, Mr Aryan Rana, of Parwaaz Mulitfoundation, Mrs Anandi Gairola, Mr Suresh Lohani of Uttranachal Mahasangh Mumbai, Mr R Bhatt of Gadkesari, personally visited the affected families in their houses, spent time with them, consoled and listened to their grievances.

Determined to help the flood victims in Uttrakhand, Parwaaz Mulitfoundation (which was founded in 2009) team led by Aryan Rana of Adfactors PR initiated a campaign to raise funds for the relief and rehabilitation of the affected families in the region. The team members, wrote mails and went door- to- door in Thane and Mumbai, asking for funds from potential donors.

The team then made contact with agencies working on the rehabilitation of the victims and set off to Uttarakhand in third week of July to distribute the aid amongst the flood affected families in the Rudra Prayag area, Tilwada, and Shrinagar districts of Uttarakhand.

Their collective efforts resulted in a collection of over 2.05lakh. This included individual contributions by employees of Adfactors PR and including donations ranging from Rs.20 to 5.000. Parwaaz Multi Foundation then tied up with the Uttaranchal Mahasangh, Mumbai, which also raised funds worth over 2lakh.
The team handed over the relief fund to around 68 families. This money helped the families buy essential commodities such as provisions, clothes, blankets, utensils, tents, nets, basic medicines, stoves, fuel, etc.
